| Pilots have 200 seconds to fly as many 150-meter legs as
possible between bases A and B. To do this, they are allowed
up to 10 climbs outside of the course next to base A where
they stand. The motor must be off, and the plane must be gliding,
while on course. The current record is 48 legs, which means
the plane is gliding at an average speed of 100 mph including
the turns. |
